What is it with this beige "gender studies" usurpation of GWS?

In my view we have actually lost something rather than gained something- if the argument is about exploring masculinity etc why not GWS&M (excuse the pun). I think this change actually shuts down questions and questioners rather than adding anything new. It is a huge shame and anti feminist.
