Are men, as fathers, ultimately to blame for the general lack of quality women; and if so why would this be?

I think BOTH parents play into someone becoming a quality person. I had an overbearing mother and a dad that just went along with whatever she wanted. My mother was abusive and I always felt that my father did not stand up to her, just believed whatever BS she told him about me and her. She liked to paint herself as a victim to my father, I was always this horrible kid that made her crazy and forced her to hit me. I can't help but think of my father as weak and my mother as a *****. I just can't. But it is what it is, and there's nothing I can do about it now. My parents are becoming old. I wouldn't say I was a poor quality person--maybe a damaged one.
